THE STATE OF PROGRESS IN TURKEY'S ACCESSION NEGOTIATIONS
Following Mr. Varadi’s speech undergraduate students presented research papers concerning the various facets of the evolving relationship between Turkey and the EU. Of the 15 papers presented by groups of students best three voted by faculty members were rewarded at the end of the Conference.
Accordingly, Çağatay Badur, Özge D. Çalışkan, Özge Çömek, Hande Egeli, Erdinç Erdem and Merve Mert won the best paper prize; while Ekin Sila Eke, Bahar Özakıncı, Bahar Sinal and Berk Zurnacıoğlu received the second best paper prize. Two groups shared the third best paper prize: The paper of Ülgen Kıymık, Ebru Altun and Nilay Manav and the paper of Betül Alaş, Ezgi Günaydın, Heves G. Eyiboğlu, Özge Ok, Yağmur Sabancı and G. Yudum Yiğit.
