UĞUR YÜCEL AND OZAN GÜVEN WAS THE GUEST OF 8th SPRING FESTIVAL OF IUE
Famous actors Uğur Yücel and Ozan Güven attended the opening in which IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Attila Sezgin made a speech and said, "I hope you will have fun in the eighth of the spring festivals. The students who balance studying and having fun will be successful in life. I believe that you will do it properly. I thank to Board of Trustees President Ekrem Demirtaş and İzmir Chamber of Commerce for their support in the festival.”
After the speeches, Uğur Yücel and Ozan Güven gave award to Enis Manaz who became the first in “From 1 to 5 Short Film Competition” with his film “Esperanto”, Y. Buğra Dedeoğlu who became the second with his film “Çekirdek Aile” and Nazlı Özerk who became the third with her film “Engel Olmadan”. Yücel and Güven made a sincere speech with the students who filled the conference hall and said, "We are happy to be here and in İzmir.
Uğur Yücel, who turned back to TV screen with the TV series “Canım Ailem” answered a question about being an actor and said, "Put your heart into it, the rest will come." Yücel said that he did not like himself as an actor and said, "I do not like to see myself on the screen. We are psychopaths. We wander around without being put in an asylum.” Ozan Güven stated that he was happy that his role in GORA as a gay robot was not forgotten. He said, “An actor should play every role. He should at least try. His success depends on how much he can adopt that role. I do not agree with Uğur Yücel’s psychopath definition.” At the end of the speeches, IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Attila Sezgin presented plaquets to both of the actors.
