Ladies Volleyball Team Overthrew the Leader
Izmir University of Economics Ladies Volleyball Team maintains its rise in the league. On Sunday, December 24, 2006 Okay Sports Club started the game fast at Güzelyalı Gürsel Aksel Sports Hall. They took a commanding lead in game one at 25-18. Izmir University of Economics Ladies Volleyball Team tied the score in a short time but Okay Sports Club made up the difference.
Izmir University of Economics Ladies Volleyball Team fell behind 2-0 to Okay Sports Club in the opening moments of game three but concentrated to the third game. They pushed for several points and tied the score at 2-2 thanks to the spikes. The supporters of Izmir University of Economics were really excited but our team got the 15-13 win.
We congratulate our team that managed to defeat its rival without the two effective players Ceylan and Naz. See them in action against Denizli Servergazi Municipality Ladies Volleyball Team on Sunday, January 07, 2006 at the Gürsel Aksel Sports Hall in Göztepe. Game Time: 14.00
