ADVICES FOR UNIVERSITY CANDIDATES FROM PREFERENCE CONSULTANT CIHAT ŞENER
The well-known preference consultant Cihat Şener was at Izmir University of Economics. The students and their parents, who are uncertain about their preferences, came to the Izmir University of Economics in the morning.
Şener controlled the preferences of the candidates one by one and later on, he answered their questions in the Conference Hall. Şener advised the students to prefer the department that they want to study at, and said, “The most common mistake is to write the departments that have the highest point to the top even though the student do not want to study at that department. You will choose the profession which you want most.” Cihat Şener stated that there are students who are uncertain about state and foundation universities, and said, “There are foundation universities which have a well qualified academic staff, and that teaches computer and two foreign languages. The students who are educated at these universities and have a brilliant career prove this.”
1420 university candidates visited Izmir University of Economics that offers consultancy service with student advisors, academicians and university students. Izmir University of Economics continues consultancy service until August 3, the deadline for the submission of the forms.
