Izmir University of Economics Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Sezgin and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Esen have been awarded with certificate of appreciation at the ceremony.
Izmir University of Economics Rector Prof. Dr. Atilla Sezgin reminded that, only 40 universities in Europe have the ECTS Label which enables to share the quality of education perspicuously with all the beneficiaries. Prof. Dr. Sezgin said that, “This award has only been given to 12 universities this year, not to exceed 40 in total. We are very proud to be among those 40 universities as University of Economics. The ECTS Label, which is given to institutes of higher education that have successfully completed and implementing the Bologna Process, is a result of intense and long lasting efforts to provide international standards of quality of education. I believe that, this success of Izmir University of Economics with its student based education approach will pave the way for even bigger successes.”
