SEFERİHİSAR WILL SUIT “CİTTASLOW” WITH ITS DESIGNS
The designs prepared in the scope of the project founded 6 months ago with İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Industrial Design came to the light.
The interesting projects prepared by the students of Department of Industrial Design are presented to Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer. The projects that try to highlight the local and cultural features of Seferihisar, the first CittaSlow of Turkey are prepared by the students. The project team made up of Head of Department of Industrial Design Asst. Prof. A. Can Özcan, Asst. Prof. Deniz Deniz, instructor Derya Irkdaş and Aslı Çetin, together with third grade students prepared designs that highlight the local and cultural features of CittaSlow Seferihisar.
The design team made up 40 people prepared projects in wide spectrum in accordance with SlowCity criteria and presented their projects to Seferihisar Mayor Tunç Soyer and the committee. The projects chosen by the Mayor Tunç Soyer among the projects prepared to protect the local and cultural values of Seferihisar will be implemented to Turkey's only CittaSlow town.
