She said, “Books contribute to the development of vocabulary of children. They also contribute to the development of imagination, empathy and values of children. Children exposed to books at an earlier age learn about concepts better. Their learning process based on a different environment, situation, and time begins”.
Cura also stated that children who develop a habit of reading at an early age continue this habit throughout their lives. She said that the preschoolers listened to the books read by IUE students very attentively. “Story books, by displaying lives from different perspectives during processes of understanding the world, is an indivisible part of child development. We wanted to support their upbringing as a healthy and conscious generation,” said Cura.
