We are aware that we must work hard to reach his targets and help our country develop. Great Atatürk showed that Turkey’s being productive is of utmost importance if she is to have a voice and be respected across the globe. This can only come true by raising children who will adopt a leadership vision, always be hungry for knowledge, inquisitive, science-focused and innovative. We very well know that it is our responsibility to educate the youth so that they will adopt and internalize Atatürk’s goals and views. We, as the University of Economics, are using every means to help our students become such individuals. As the residents of İzmir, in which Atatürk achieved great things and which was so special to him, we are here making a promise that we will follow his path. We will continue working hard to educate the youth with national and spiritual values.
