Received training to train entrepreneurial students
Ministry of National Education Directorate General for Secondary Education and Junior Achievement Education Foundation Turkey, which was founded in 1999 as a part of Junior Achievement (JA) that started its activities in 1919, signed a protocol for ‘Developing Youth Entrepreneurial Skills’. The first step has been taken for Design & Skills Workshops as part of the protocol, and ‘Teachers’ Training’ has been held in Ankara for teachers coming from seven cities across the nation.
Teachers received application-based training on the "Importance of Raising Youth with Entrepreneurial Mindset", and was given information about the on-going ‘GençBizz Inter-High School Entrepreneurship Program’.
Burçin Önder, Director of Vocational School of Izmir University of Economics, who was invited to the training, delivered a "What Does 21st Century Require?" titled seminar to the teachers. The training also addressed topics such as 21st Century Education, New Social Media, 21st Century Learners, Web 2.0, 3.0, and Communication.
The ‘GençBizz’ Program, which is an inter-high school entrepreneurship program of Junior Achievement Education Foundation carried out for 50 years across 123 countries, aims to instill entrepreneurial spirit and mind frame in young people via Design & Skills Workshops.
