Dormitory registrations for new students
Dear Students,
The requests received from you until September 10, 2021 have been evaluated and they have been finalized to provide accommodation for all students primarily in four-person rooms. Accordingly, students, who have newly registered at the University and pre-registered in dormitory until September 10, 2021, can complete their registration until September 21, 2021 at the latest by completing the following procedures and documents.
Students, who do not complete the procedures by the specified date, will be deemed to have waived their dormitory rights. Students in this situation will not be placed in the dormitory rooms, and the amount they paid for the pre-registration will not be refunded.
PAYMENT PROCEDURES
In order to complete the registration, the remaining amount and the deposit fee must be paid according to the information you will receive from the Dormitory Management regarding the type of room you have settled in. Pre-registration fees paid before should be deducted from this amount and the remaining amount should be deposited.
1 person room fee: 27.960 TL (annual, VAT included)
3-4 person room fee: 21.220 TL (annual, VAT included)

VACCINATION REQUIREMENT IN DORMS
According to the decision of the Izmir University of Economics Senate, students must have a double dose of Covid-19 vaccine and at least 14 days must have passed since the second dose of vaccine in order to stay in the dormitories. The following conditions will apply for the entry of students who have had Covid-19 disease on the date of entry to the dormitory and whose vaccination time has not yet come. Students, who will not be able to complete their dormitory registration due to this decision, can apply to the Dormitory Management for a refund of the pre-registration fee.
Students, who cannot get vaccinated because they had Covid-19 disease, must:
- submit a positive PCR test result indicating that they have/had Covid-19.
- must get vaccinated 3 months after the disease.
Students, missing the second dose of vaccine, must:
- submit a negative PCR test performed at the latest 48 hours before entering the dormitories (A PCR test will be required every 72 hours during the stay in the dormitory, including the completion of vaccinations and the required 14 days afterward.)
Students, who have not been vaccinated because they have/had the disease or because it is not yet time for vaccination, are required to make a commitment that they will make a vaccination appointment and complete their vaccinations when the time comes. (The required form can be obtained from the Dormitory Directorate office.)
Students, who do not complete their vaccination procedures within the specified and promised period, will not be able to stay in the dormitory until they fulfill their commitment as of the deadline.
