A COLLABORATIVE WORK BY TURK AND JAPAN DESIGN STUDENTS
Turk and Japan design students designed a student house in Yeşilova Mound within the scope of a workshop hosted by IUE. 11 Turk students from Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department, IUE and 9 Japan students from Architecture Department, Chiba University exhibited their joint works at the end of the project. Japan students, aside from professional training, were introduced both vernacular architecture and contemporary structures in Izmir in technical visits to Ephesus and Kemeraltı together with Yeşilova Mound. They also visited Izmir Branch of Chamber of Interior Architects.
