IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS VOCATIONAL SCHOOL CONTINUES TO SUPPORT YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
Lecturers of Izmir University of Economics Vocational School will prepare the youth, who will shape the ecosystem of the future, for the second time this year for business world by mentoring high-school entrepreneurs in Izmir in cooperation with Junior Achievement Education Foundation (JAEF) as part of “GençBizz” Corporation Program. 16 lecturers from Izmir University of Economics Vocational School will get together with high school students across Izmir, and support them with realizing their job ideas as part of the mentoring activities that will last throughout the year.
“GençBizz Teacher Training” by Burçin Önder, Director of IUE Vocational School
Burçin Önder, Director of Izmir University of Economics Vocational School, conducted this year’s “GençBizz Teacher Training”. Over 200 high-school teachers participated in the two-day Inter-High School Entrepreneurship Program Teacher Training conducted by Burçin Önder. Teachers, who have volunteered in GençBizz Corporation Program, received interactive training titled, “Business Development Priorities in 2018.” GençBizz Corporation Program aims to contribute to the implementation of entrepreneurship education effectively at schools, which gains importance day by day in our country and abroad; help high school students enhance their quality of life, increase their participation in workforce, and help them gain managerial skills.

Junior Achievement Education Foundation Turkey was founded in 1999 as a part of Junior Achievement (JA) that started its activities in 1919. As one of 40 countries, which are affiliated with JA Europe located in Brussel, JA Turkey is a non-profit civil society organization.
