TAKING FIRM STEPS WITH GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) offers an opportunity to the youth and professionals to improve their careers with graduate degree programs provided within the Graduate Schools of Business, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Natural and Applied Sciences. The University, with its 31 Master’s and 10 Ph.D. programs, offers opportunities to those who want to take firm steps in a global competitive environment.
The application process, for 2018-2019 Academic Year Fall semester for IUE Master’s and Ph.D. programs for youth and professionals, continues. Students are offered thesis or non-thesis options as well as distance learning to self-develop. Interested parties will be able to apply until August 31 at www.ieu.edu.tr.
IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Can Muğan stated that the graduate programs contributed both to train the qualified workforce required by the business world, and to the self-development of individuals. “Graduate programs allow individuals to focus on the area they want to specialize in. We offer a global education system where theoretical knowledge is blended with practical knowledge with our expert academic staff. We welcome individuals, who want to bring an initiative in the business world, in our graduate programs. One area of specialization in today’s work life is not enough anymore; we have to welcome change and innovations into our lives,” said the Rector.
Prof. Dr. Muğan reported that the medium of instruction was English in principle, however, some of the programs offered Turkish options. Prof. Dr. Muğan said that the Business Administration Distance Education Graduate Program (e-MBA) was offered for those who could not make it to the campus due to time and location problems.
