R&D CENTERS CAME TOGETHER AT IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS FOR THE FIRST TIME
Izmir University of Economics Technology Transfer Office brought R&D centers in Izmir together as part of university-industry collaboration activities. Fifty representatives from 24 R&D companies participated at the event, which was organized for the first time in Izmir.
Serdar Gökpınar, Technology Development Foundation (TTGV) of Turkey, Mustafa Sezer, Arçelik R&D Center, Duygu Yaycıoğlu, Temsa R&D Center, Hayrettin Çelikhisar, IUE Sciencepark and Technology Transfer Office Coordinator, and Suna Seda Güneş Project Development and Technology Transfer Office Specialist, gave information at the event where IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Can Muğan delivered the opening speech. Chemistry, machinery, and textile industries participated at the event that took place at the West Aegean. Serdar Gökpınar from TTGV stated that they acted upon a technology producing Turkey vision, and said that they designed, developed, and implemented references and capacity building activities for value added jobs, processes and products.
