SPECIALIZATION INCREASES WITH GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Experts needed by the business world and the digital era are trained at Izmir University of Economics Graduate Programs. The application process, for Izmir University of Economics (IUE) master’s and Ph.D. programs for fall semester for youth and professionals who want to hold a graduate diploma and choose a different path for their careers, still continues. Interested parties may apply until June 28 under the graduate schools section on the University’s web page.
Students will get a chance to improve themselves on a wide variety of subjects from electronics engineering to finance, from logistics management to reproduction biology, and to health institutions management offered with thesis or non-thesis options as well as distance learning within the 4 graduate schools at the University.
IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Can Muğan said they offered programs within the Graduate Schools of Business, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Natural and Applied Sciences at the University to individuals who want to become entrepreneurial and innovative in both their professional life and academic careers.
‘One area of specialization is not enough for a career’
Prof. Dr. Can Muğan reported that graduate programs were developed to meet the needs of the era and the business world, and she said they offered Business Administration Distance Education Graduate Program (e-MBA) for those who cannot make it to the campus due to time and location problems. Prof. Dr. Muğan also said that the medium of instruction was English in principle, however, some of the programs offered Turkish options. She said, “One area of specialization in work life is not enough anymore; we have to add new areas of specialization. Graduate programs allow individuals to focus on the area they want to specialize in. That’s why master’s programs play a vital role. Those, who want to excel in their careers with firm steps, opt for graduate education. We now see professionals with graduate degree in business world. We are excited to welcome those who want to make an expansion in their careers to our University”.
