Business ideas will take off with Turkish Airlines (THY). Successful business ideas on a wide variety of areas including artificial intelligence and wearable technology will be implemented by Turkish Airlines as part of the joint technology development program of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Embryonix Technology Transfer Office and THY. Following the applications by April 14, successful projects will be included in incubation program in May, and later on, projects to be selected at "Fusion Day" will get a chance to be implemented by Turkish Airlines.
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Embryonix Technology Transfer Office organized an introductory meeting titled, “Development Program: From Idea to Product” at IUE Conference Hall. IUE Rector Prof Dr. Can Muğan, IUE Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Aşkar, Serdar Gürbüz, Director, Digital Innovation Department, THY, Mehmet Sandıklı, Engineer, Digital Innovation Department, THY, academicians, entrepreneurs, and students were among the attendants of this meeting.
Director Serdar Gürbüz stated the following:
“We are kindly inviting all academicians and entrepreneurs with business ideas that will contribute to the domestic economy, to the incubation program co-coordinated by THY and Izmir University of Economics, in order to provide technical support to start-up companies and SME’s to help them excel. We will be excited to take project applications on artificial intelligence, wearable technology, biometric recognition technologies, big data, image processing, mobile/web solutions, mobile payment solutions, and material technologies.”
