Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Vocational School collaborated with Kuika, one of Turkey’s leading software development platforms, and organized a “Software and Design Camp” for its 35 students.
Candan Fetvacı, Chair of Executive Board of Aydın Doğan Foundation, Photographer Mustafa Seven, and Journalist-Author Melis Alphan, the creators of the “Ben İstersem (If I Want)” titled exhibition about inspiring stories of young girls, who overcame many difficulties and achieved success in various areas, came together with students at Izmir University of Economics (IUE).
The “TUSIAD’s Bu Gençlikte İŞ Var! Aegean Entrepreneurship Camp”, which was initiated with the collaboration of TUSIAD and EGIAD last year in order to support the entrepreneurial young people in the Aegean Region, was hosted by Izmir University of Economics (IUE) this year.
Izmir University of Economics (IUE) organized a surprise trip for 43 students who came to the University as part of Erasmus and other international exchange programs. Dr. Hüseyin Aşkın, Izmir Provincial Chief of Police, started to teach “Public Opinion and Communication” course to graduate program students at Izmir University of Economics (IUE). Dr. Aşkın will be sharing his knowledge and experiences with students throughout the 14-week course.
The “Ben İstersem (If I Want)” titled exhibition, which includes inspiring stories and photographs of 21 young girls from different cities who overcame many difficulties and achieved success in various areas, met with art enthusiasts at Izmir University of Economics (IUE).
Current information on surgical and operating room nursing has been addressed at the “Current Approaches on Surgical and Operating Room Nursing Symposium” co-held by the Department of Nursing, Izmir University of Economics (IUE), Turkish Surgical and Operating Room Nurses Association, and Izmir Katip Çelebi University Ataturk Education and Research Hospital.
A special software has been developed for 16 thousand 200 graduates of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) to allow them keep in touch, and pave the way for new business partnerships.
Asst. Prof. Burçak Alp, faculty member from Izmir University of Economics, who started to focus his scientific studies on tendon due to an injury he had in his tendon during his doctoral studies in England, plans to develop “artificial tendon” in the next 2 years.
