Junior and seniors discussed examples of entrepreneurship, and later on met the investors who are going to lead their enterprises as part of the CaseCampus Program, curated by Endeavor Turkey and sponsored by Akbank. The energy used for heating with the arrival of cold weather is increasing remarkably. Based on the data by Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey has consumed 278.4 billion kilowatt-hours electricity in 2016. The Great Leader Ataturk was commemorated on the 79th anniversary of his passing at Izmir University of Economics (IUE) with a large crowd of academicians, administrative staff, and students. The ceremony started by Rector Prof. Dr. Can Muğan, Prof. Dr. Kamer Mutafoğlu, Head of Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, and President of Kemalist Thought Club, Mehmet Kılıç laying a wreath at Ataturk Monument, and as the sirens were heard the attendants observed a moment of silence, which was followed by singing of the National Anthem. Students of Furniture and Decoration Program, IUE Vocational School, presented Ataturk's portrait they drew on a wooden surface to the Rector. At the end of the ceremony, academicians and students left carnations at the monument.

Ekrem Demirtaş, President of IUE Board of Trustees, viewed the furniture being used at various locations on campus.
