IEU Lower Body Exo Skeleton Design Project
Exoskeletons are wearable electro-mechanical devices designed to support or augment body movements. Exo skeletons have various application areas from medical - assisting humans who fully or partially lost motor functions due to age, accident, or illness, to military - enabling soldiers carrying heavy loads or walking long distances, and civilian - helping rescue workers work in dangerous environments and similar.
Some great videos about modern exoskeletons can be found here:

At Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Engineering, we are starting a new interdisciplinary student project aimed at designing and creating a fully functional lower body exoskeleton for assisting and augmenting human users. The project welcomes students from all faculties and departments of IEU.
